wygłosi wykład p.t. "Rearrangement Collisions in the Schwinger Variational Principle: Positronium Formation and Positron Annihilation in Positron-Hydrogen Atom Collisions "
Abstract:
In this seminar, I will present the development of a functional for the Schwinger Variational Principle capable of describing the effects of particle rearrangement in positron scattering problems. The functional is constructed by considering a system of projected Lippmann-Schwinger equations and accounting for the appropriate particle arrangement components in the expansion of the system's wave function. The developed method is tested through an application to the positron-Hydrogen Atom problem in the static-coupled approach. Results are obtained for the annihilation parameter, as well as for the elastic and Positronium formation cross sections.
