wygłosi wykład pt.: ”What do we know about the topology of attractors?”
Abstrakt:
In this talk we shall see what topological conditions must a compact set fulfill in order to be an attractor for either a continuous or discrete dynamical system. We shall see that not only the topology of the compactum but the way in which it is embedded in the phase space also plays a role. We shall exhibit plenty of examples of compacta that cannot be realized as attractors.
