Funds under the Program are awarded through a competition. The competition is aimed at full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students admitted to the first year of study at Gdansk University of Technology from the winter semester of the 2023/2024 academic year.
We cordially invite you to the next summer edition of the CMP seminar, which will take place on July 28, 2023, at 12:00 in Auditorium 1 of the old Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics (building 41).
Two lectures as part of the seminar:
All Participants will receive a diploma certifying acquired skills and learning outcomes, and ECTS credits collected during the training that may be recognized by the home institution.
Under the RADIUM Program, it is possible to obtain a university grant to finance the costs of ongoing research by second-level students in Individual Research Studies.
The ISB and the RADIUM Program are part of the implementation of IDUB's tasks to improve the quality of education of students and doctoral students, especially in majors and scientific disciplines related to the university's priority research areas, Measure III.1. (Modification of the education system for first and second degree studies).
Dr Jakub Karczewski graduated from the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics at the Gdańsk University of Technology. He received his master's degree in technical physics in 2006. Five years later – in 2011 – he obtained the degree of doctor of physical sciences. From 2022 he is a habilitated doctor in the field of natural sciences / physical sciences.
The three BIPs will revolve around applied mathematics viewed as an interdisciplinary area at the interface with engineering, physics, economy, geology, biology, and social sciences. More specifically, the programmes are:
