On September 23-25, the Gdańsk University of Technology, Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics will once again host the international summer school Electro Summer.The summer school is organized under the aegis of Advanced Materials Centre of the Gdańsk University of Technology and the International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE).

to participate in the Summer School Quantum Materials and Electronic Structure

We cordially invite you to take part in the summer school dedicated to quantum materials and electronic structure.

The classes are free of charge and will take place on June 19–20, 2026, at the Centre of Nanotechnology A.

We are pleased to announce the call for the 2026 summer school program at Beijing Institute of Technology, China. A maximum of twenty students from Gdańsk Tech can be accepted for this program, enjoying the BIT scholarship. BIT Scholarship covers tuition, on-campus accommodation, teaching materials, insurance, culture tours. Students only need to bear the expenses for international travel and meals during they study in China.

The program will revolve around applied mathematics viewed as an interdisciplinary area at the interface with engineering, physics, geology, biology and social sciences with this main subject: 

Mathematical Modelling for Natural Disasters (MMND-BIP)  based on the study of stochastic and elastodynamics equations for earthquake dynamics , mathematical models for natural disasters (fire, landslides, climate changes etc.) and on the study of reaction-diffusion-aggregation equations and conservation laws.

Taipei Tech invites students to participate in an academic exchange program for the spring semester of 2026.

Our faculty can nominate one person for this program.

Organized by the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics, and Advanced Materials Centre with support from the team of Scientific Club RedOx, Poland’s first Electrochemical Society  affiliated science club.

This summer school focuses on advanced experimental measurement techniques in physics and engineering, emphasizing smart sensing and modern machine learning (ML) methods. You will learn to make the most of experimental data—including negative or inconclusive findings often overlooked in publications. We will demonstrate how ML can reveal hidden patterns and drive scientific progress.
