The Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics of Gdańsk Tech employs 102 academic teachers, including 36 professors and associate professors, 54 PhD holders and 12 with a master degree. Most of the faculty's staff are involved in scientific research in collaboration with various significant national institutes (e.g. the Institute of High Pressures of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, the National Center for Nuclear Research in Spruce). There is also an intensive foreign cooperation with well-known centers in Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Canada and the USA.
