On Monday, January 29th, the BeCOIL initiative is offering a workshop on how to design COILs with international colleagues.

TU Berlin is a member of the initiative “BeCOIL Collaborative Online International Learning” -  a joint project on the topic of COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning). In cooperation with the Berlin Centre for Higher Education (BZHL), this project has organized a 90-minutes online course that provides an introduction to the COIL approach and outlines how university teachers/professors can incorporate digital and international elements into their teaching.

We address questions such as:

  • Why should we, as educators, integrate COILs into our teaching?
  • What drives student engagement in COILs?
  • Which subjects are particularly conducive to COILs?
  • How can we collaborate effectively online within culturally diverse teams?
  • What other aspects should we consider, e.g. data protection, tools or credits?

The course is open to educators form our international partner institutions. Thus, we cordially invite you to register for the training session!
