Scientific Awards of „Polityka” | Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics at the Gdańsk University of Technology

Since 2001, the Polityka Foundation has been running a scholarship program for young scientists called "Stay with us!" - since 2011, under the name of Scientific Awards. Through the action carried out in "Polityka", a valuable model of career and scientific achievements of young scientists in Poland is promoted. We are looking for people who have passed an important milestone in their professional life in the last two or two years - it can be a doctoral thesis, postdoctoral thesis, a book, an important research article, completion or commencement of research, building a team, assuming an important function in a scientific institution.

Every year, 15 finalists are selected in five fields of study: humanities, social sciences, science, life and technology. In 2022, the five best candidates will receive Scientific Awards - scholarships of PLN 15,000 and an interview in the „Polityka. The remaining ten finalists will receive final prizes in the amount of PLN 5,000.

To apply for the scholarship you have to fill in the application form and send it back by e-mail until June 8^th, 2022 (midnight) to the following address: stypendia@polityka.pl

The competition is intended for young scientists, i.e. people under 35 years of age. Applications are assessed by the Commitee, which takes into account the relationship between the age and academic achievements of the candidate, so slightly exceeding the age limit is not disqualifying in the first stage.
