NAWA Professorship | Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics at the Gdańsk University of Technology

The NAWA Proffesorship program enables inviting to Poland outstanding specialists in their priority research areas, who will significantly develop ground-breaking research. They will strenghten teaching activities and will suport the process of preparation of applications for prestigious grants.

In the program it is possible to employ scientists with outstanding international achievements from various countreis around the world for a period of 36-48 months, and to create a project group for them.

Projects carried out under the Program include research tasks, while the conducted research should respond to significant civilization challenges and be significant for the development of science and favor the internationalization of the Applicant's scientific activities.

In the current edition, the Program is open to the following fields of science and technology (according to the OECD classification):

1. natural sciences,
2. engineering and technical sciences,
3. medical sciences and health sciences,
4. agriculture science.

The program requires an own contribution of at least 20% of the Project budget.

The call for applications is open until May 23^rd, 2022, 15:00.
