Fulbright Specialist Program

Fulbright Specialist Program
The Fulbright Specialist Program is a short-term scientific and research exchange program aimed at deepening and expanding cooperation between Polish institutions and American scientists.

The program enables Polish institutions to establish cooperation with eminent American specialists and to jointly carry out a project related to a specialist’s visit in a Polish institution lasting from 2 to 6 weeks (14 to 42 calendar days). A specialist’s visit in Poland may be related to conducting lectures and workshops, participation in conferences, consulting in the fiels of program works, performing assessments and expert opinions, or developing local research projects.

Projects can be dedicated to any discipline and host institution eligible under the Fulbright Specialist Program, as well as any form or level of education, including (but not limited to):

  1. non-formal and informal educational programs and practices developed with the involvement of the nonprofit sector or cultural institutions,
  2. K-12 education,
  3. higher education, in particular, at the doctoral training level,
  4. post-doctoral development of scientists and academic teachers.

Best practices in innovative education may cover areas such as faculty/teacher/student education, training, assessment and feedback mechanisms; curriculum development and evaluation; use of technologies; institutional administration and policy frameworks.

Submitted project proposals should demonstrate clearly:

  1. what will be done (program/method/tool/approach/process/structure to be shared, implemented etc.),
  2. why the project is considered a best practice in innovative education and how its track record of success in the United States will convey in/to a Polish environment, and
  3. how the applicant’s community (be it students, faculty, local community, etc.) will benefit from the project.

The call for proposals is available to 11th April, 2022.
