"Sonatina 6" competition | Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics at the Gdańsk University of Technology

The competition is open to researchers with a PhD obtained in the year of submitting the application or in the period of 3 years before the year of submitting the application (in the period from January 1^st, 2019 to December 31^st, 2021) or to whom the PhD will be awarded by June 30^thth, 2022.

The project manager is obliged to plan and complete a foreign internship lasting from 3 to 6 months in a foreign research centre.

The projects under this competition may last 24 or 36 months.

Conducted research is an obligatory part of the project. It can be both basic research and applied research (understood as work aimed at acquiring new knowledge and skills, aimed at developing new products, processes or services or introducing significant improvements to them).

The competition regulations indicate that in the project costs it is not possible to plan funds for the purchase or production of research equipment, devices or software.

The call for proposals lsts until March 15^th, 2022, 4 p.m.
