How to apply for the COST financial support?
The MD-GAS COST Action will provide financial support for a limited number of participants. A priority will be given to young researchers (MSc students, PhD students and post-docs). This support shall cover the local expenses and travel expenses.
A deadline for application for financial support is the 2nd of June 2023.
General information:
- The applications for the financial support must be submitted through the Gdansk School 2023 platform
- All applicants must fill out an application form Gdansk School 2023 platform (Registration Form), which includes a short CV, a motivation letter, and a short recommendation letter. Scientific Committee will classify the applicant according to COST rules, including balancing career stage, gender, and countries of work. The acceptance will be notified by June 9th at the latest.
- Application will be considered individually (deadline for the application is 2nd June 2023)
- The application will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee.
- Priority will be given to applicants from Inclusivness Target Countries countries: Excellence & Inclusiveness | COST
- All participants will have to present a poster about their research.
Selections will be made with a view towards the MD-GAS Training School budget over the current grant period.
Self-financing
The School also accepts applications from candidates that have their own source of funding. No registration fee. They can be MSc students, PhD students, postdocs or experienced researchers.In the application form, they should indicate that they have other sources of financing; otherwise, their applications will be processed as any other.
