Karolina Górnicka PhD ! | Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics at the Gdańsk University of Technology

On October 22, 2021, after 1:00 p.m., our colleague, Karolina Górnicka, completed the third stage of her student adventure with the defense of her doctoral dissertation entitled The study of superconducting properties of selected intermetallic systems.  The doctoral dissertation, written under the watchful eye of Prof. Klimczuk, was reviewed by equally vigilant and insightful professors: Andrzej Szewczyk (IF, PAN), Zbigniew Kąkol (WFiIS, AGH) and Daniel Gnida (INTiBS, PAN). The conclusion of the reviewers' discussion was a motion to grant a doctoral degree in the field of engineering and technical sciences and a request for a distinction for Karolina. On October 25, 2021, both were supported by the Board of the Scientific Discipline of Materials Engineering of the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics of the Gdańsk University of Technology.
