A graduate of the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics of the Gdańsk Tech receives a thorough education in basic sciences and selected fields of technology, which allows him to see and understand technology and its problems from the perspective of trends in modern physics, chemistry, material engineering and related disciplines. Thanks to this, he is perfectly prepared to solve any unusual (interdisciplinary) problems encompassing various areas of technology.
Graduates with a diploma of our faculty are willingly employed in universities, research institutes, design offices and industrial R&D laboratories, as the operators of highly specialized diagnostic equipment, as well as directly at the production oriented positions as conscious engineers - creators who are familiar with the scientific basis of their activities. They also work in computing centres and as teachers at schools.
The versatility of our graduates' education means that they also successfully work in industries far from the completed study field, e.g. management, banking or computer networking.
