Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics
The Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics (FAP&M) employs 102 academic teachers, including 36 professors and associate professors, 54 Ph.D. holders. It is divided into 3 institutes:
It offers Bachelor, Master and Ph.D. programs in all research areas, i.e. Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, Nanotechnology, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, and Applied Informatics.
Detailed information regarding our study programs can be found here.
Apart from standard study programs, our Faculty offers a broad range of joint international double- or dual-degree Master programs organized with our key Partner Universities from Italy, France, and international academic consortia. All of these studies are run in English and are open to Polish and international candidates holding Bachelor’s or Engineering degrees in Physics, Mathematics, Nanotechnology, Materials Science or related fields. Most of these programs are 2-year joint double-degree interdisciplinary programs, involving a 1-year students mobility for studies and internship supported by the Erasmus+ funds. Students enrolled to these programs pay tuition fees only in their home university. Graduates are awarded 2 diplomas at a time – a Master’s diploma issued by Gdańsk Tech, and a Master’s diploma issued by the partner university. Conferred degrees depend on the chosen program.
If you are interested in studying at our Faculty as a full degree or an exchange student, please contact the coordinator of International Relations Office – Dr. Justyna Szostak.
