Useful information

1. Registration for the next semester

At Gdańsk University of Technology your learning progress is assessed in each term and measured by the number of ECTS points you collect, as well as the compulsory trainings completed.

After the exam session ends, on the basis of the exam/test protocols submitted by academic teachers we will check the amount of the ECTS points you collected and the point debt you have.

The Vice-Dean for Education will make a decision regarding your further career as a student.

  • If your point debt is 0 ECTS and you are not studying at the final term of your studies, that is you have successfully completed all the subjects in your current study course - you will be AUTOMATICALLY registered for the next term.
  • If your point debt does not exceed 12 ECTS and you are not studying at the final term of your studies - you need to submit a request for registration.
  • if your point debt exceeds 12 ECTS – you need to submit a request for registration.

Where can I find the request for registration and how can I submit it?

Log in to your account in "Moja PG" system (MojaPG ->Documents -> eDocuments) and select the “Application for registration for the summer semester 2021/2022” (Wniosek o rejestrację na semestr letni 2021/2022) from the list of applications

REMEMBER! The time for submitting the request for registration is limited and it is specified in the academic calendar – th deadline is February 23. If you do not meet the deadline you may be removed from the list of students!

After your request is processed by the Vice-Dean, appropriate changes regarding the registration/student status will be visible in Gdańsk Tech MojaPG system.

2. Academic payments

Students are required to pay fees for repeated classes, subjects or the compulsory trainings in accordance with:

ZARZĄDZENIE REKTORA PG nr 22/2023 z 22 maja 2023 r. - Rules for charging fees for educational services, terms and conditions for exemption from fees and the amount of fees for educational services at Gdańsk University of Technology,
https://repos.pg.edu.pl/d/tt9

REMEMBER! the Dean may exclude the student from the students register for not paying the tuition fees.

Students studying at the university within the frame of the international agreements, e.g. Erasmus+ exchange students or double-degree students nominated by our partner universities, are exempted from tuition fees.

Fees for the repetition of particular classes on full-time study courses due to unsatisfactory academic performance are calculated on the basis of the total number of class hours repeated. The repeat fee rate per class hour in fields of study conducted by the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics is 17 PLN per class hour.

The fee for repeating a ‘Master’s Diploma Thesis’ course amounts to 40 PLN for each ECTS credit. Knowing the number of ECTS credits assigned to this course you may calculate the fee for repeating this course. E.g. If 20 ECTS credits are assigned to the course, you will have to pay 800 PLN to retake it.

Upon student’s request, the Vice-Dean for Education may split the fee for repeating the subjects into installments or extend the payment deadline.

The time for submitting the “Installment application for the summer semester” is limited and stated in the academic calendar - this time the deadline is February 23.

Log in to your account in "Moja PG" system (MojaPG ->Documents -> eDocuments) and select the “Installment application for the summer semester” (Wniosek o rozłożenie opłat na raty w semestrze letnim 2021/2022) from the list of applications.
