Piotr Bartłomiejczyk, Ph.D., D.Sc.,

the chair of the summer school Topology and Dynamical Systems in Action, responsible for the program of this intensive course.
Piotr Bartłomiejczyk is an associate professor at the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics of Gdańsk Tech. He is also President of the Gdańsk branch of the Polish Mathematical Society.
His research interests concern modeling neurons using discrete dynamical systems, constructing new homotopy invariants for various classes of maps (especially gradient ones), and the Conley index theory.

Agnieszka Bartłomiejczyk, Ph.D.,

the educational coordinator of the summer school Topology and Dynamical Systems in Action.
She is responsible for the online course, teaching methodology, embedding the summer school lectures into the study programs of our faculty, and organizational support.

Agnieszka Bartłomiejczyk is a university professor at the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics of Gdańsk Tech, specializing in Quality Assurance in Higher Education. She works on the development of mathematical methods used in various applications. Her recent research interests focus on mathematical modeling in biology and chemistry, including gene expression and structured population.

Adrian Myszkowski, Ph.D.,

is the coordinator of the summer school Topology and Dynamical Systems in Action, responsible for the technical supervision of the in-person part of the school. He will be assisting the incoming school participants.

Adrian Myszkowski is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics of Gdańsk Tech. He is an early career scientist awarded a doctoral degree in Mathematics in 2023.
His research interests concern topological dynamical systems. In particular, topological invariants, such as topological degree, index fixed point, Nielsen, and Lefschetz numbers.
He has experience in teaching fixed point theory and numerical methods as well as in the supervision of Master.

Justyna Szostak, Ph.D., Eng.

head of the ScienceApp project.
Justyna is an assistant professor, the chair of the Rector’s Internationalization Committee of Gdańsk Tech, Dean’s Proxy for Internationalization, Erasmus+ Coordinator, Coordinator of the International Relations Office of the FAP&M, and an expert in the joint international multiple degree programs. She represents the university in many international organizations, including the RealMaths Consortium. She is one of the Directors and a Co-Chair of Task Force Learning & Teaching of CESAER – an association of 58 European universities of technology that represents over 1 million students and almost 100,000 academic staff. CESAER is an acknowledged stakeholder organization working closely with many EU institutions, notably the European Commission, Parliament and Council. Together it has many thousands of EU-funded projects and has been awarded billions of Euros worth of European research funding.

Iwona Kuzborska, M.Sc.

Iwona is an assistant employed in the Secretary Office of the Institute of Physics and Applied Computer Science. She is responsible for the promotion and registration. She is actively supporting the in-person activities of all of our ScienceApp events.

Przemysław Rakowski, M.Sc., Projects Office.

Przemysław works at the Project Office at the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics. He provides administrative support for Principal Investigators and heads of the projects run at the Faculty.
