This project is run within the frame of the SPINNAKER program - Intensive International Curricula, organized by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), financed by the European Union under the Knowledge Education Development Operational Program (Action 3.3. Internationalization of Higher Education).

Thanks to external financing, participation in the summer school is free of charge disregarding the participation mode (online or hybrid). Moreover, 15 applicants holding a foreign student/PhD student status attending the in-person classes delivered in Gdansk will be granted a 2000 PLN scholarship to amend for the costs of travel and accommodation. Grantees will be chosen by the Summer School Committee, consisting of the organizers and, if necessary, teachers participating in the summer school. This committee will decide on the candidate’s admission and award of the scholarship in the case of in-person classes. Decision criteria are:

  • field of study,
  • study cycle (Ph.D. and graduate students are favored due to their level of expertise),
  • motivation letter.

The scholarship will be paid to grantees in cash upon arrival to Gdansk. Coffee breaks and in-person activities related to regional culture and history will also be provided to our on-site participants. An on-line module related to history and culture of Gdansk will be embedded in our eNauczanie course.

Please note that each student may participate in only one summer school organized within this project.
