Delegation from the Institute of Nanotechnology and Materials Engineering Visits National Taipei University of Technology | Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics at the Gdańsk University of Technology

In the last week of February 2025, a delegation from the Institute of Nanotechnology and Materials Engineering visited the National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech). The visit took place as part of the IDUB Aurum+ project, "Perovskite Catalytic Materials for Methane Reforming," and was aimed to further strengthen scientific collaboration between the institutions and exchange expertise in the field of innovative material technologies.

During the visit, project members participated in intensive working meetings, where they discussed the results of previous research and outlined new directions for future collaboration. Special emphasis was placed on developing academic and student exchange programs, which will enhance scientific cooperation and provide young researchers with valuable experience in an international academic environment. A key highlight of the visit was a meeting with Taipei Tech’s President, Prof. Sea-Fue Wang, which provided an opportunity to summarize past achievements and discuss future prospects. The official dinner, held in a friendly atmosphere, fostered relationship-building between the representatives of both institutions and opened new possibilities for joint scientific initiatives.

The delegation also had the opportunity to tour Taipei Tech’s laboratories, where advanced research is being conducted in the field of new materials for energy conversion. This visit facilitated a comparison of research infrastructures and the exchange of knowledge regarding the latest technologies employed at both institutions.
