Professor Wojciech Sadowski appointed to the Scientific Council of the Institute of High Pressure Physics (IWC PAN)
Prof. Wojciech Sadowski, Ph.D., of the Institute of Nanotechnology and Materials Engineering, has been appointed by the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences to the Scientific Council of the Institute of High Pressure Physics (IWC PAN) for the term of 2023 - 2026.
IWC PAN is a world-leading institute in gallium nitride (GaN)-based technologies, an extremely important semiconductor for optical applications (lasers, diodes). It is also a leading scientific unit in Poland conducting research in nitride semiconductors, optoelectronics, nanomaterials, radiation and terahertz technology, superconductivity and hydrogen storage applications, glass and ceramics, as well as food pressuring and protein biophysics.
This is Prof. W. Sadowski's second term on the Scientific Council of the IWC PAN.
