Delegates of the National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech) visited Gdańsk University of Technology and the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics.
The Taiwanese university was represented by its President - Prof Sea-Fue Wang, Vice President - Distinguished Prof Thomas Chung-Kuang Yang, Dean of the Research and Development Office - Distinguished Prof Ho-Chiao Chuang, Ph.D. (ME), and Dean of the Office of International Affairs - Prof Tun Wen Pai. Our guests visited the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications, and Informatics, the workplace of Prof Piotr Jasiński, who initiated the collaboration with Taipei Tech years ago. This scientific bond is now strenghtened by the inter-university scientific & educational agreement entered into during the meeting with Gdańsk Tech authorities and representatives, including Dr. Justyna Szostak, chair of the Rector's Internationalization Committee, Dr. Tadeusz Miruszewski, cooperating with the National Central University, Taiwan, and Dr. Damian Głowienka, a former postdoctoral fellow of Taipei Tech. The visit at Gdańsk Tech concluded at the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics. Here, our guests were hosted by the Dean - Prof Józef. E. Sienkiewicz, Vice-Dean for Organization - Prof Barbara Kościelska, Deputy Director of the Institute of Nanotechnology and Materials Engineering - Prof Agnieszka Witkowska, Prof Beata Bochentyn, Prof Jakub Karczewski, Dr. Damian Głowienka and Dr. Tadeusz Miruszewski. We have shown our honored guest the research scope of our Faculty, educational offer, and laboratories of the Nanotechnology Center.
