Awards of the Polish Academy of Sciences for young scientists | Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics at the Gdańsk University of Technology

Five persons are awarded equally to in the following field of science each:

1. humanities and social science,
2. biological and agricultural,
3. exact and earth sciences,
4. technical sciences,
5. medical sciences,

for an original research achievement that was published in the year preceding the submission of the award application.

A young scientist is a person conducting scientific activity who:

1. is a doctoral student or academic teacher - and does not have a doctoral degree

or

2. holds a doctoral degree, which has been obtained maximum 7 years ago and is employed inter alia at the University.

The amount of each award is PLN 4 000 gross.

Award applications should be submitted in electronic form to the following address: gdansk@pan.pl. The application deadline is 31^st March, 2023.
