Registration to the Scattering Theory international summer schools is now open!

Scattering Theory international summer school
The Scattering Theory summer school is the first event organized within the ScienceApp - intensive international education programs in the field of applied sciences project, which received funding from the SPINAKER program of the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). In the frame of this project, the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics will conduct 8 summer schools related to applied sciences, free of charge.

This summer school is organized by the academic teachers from the Divison of Computational Chemical Physics of the Institute of Physics and Applied Computer Science. The Scattering Theory summer school chair, responsible for its program, is Jan Franz, Ph.D., D.Sc., university professor. Dr Małgorzata Franz, Deputy Director of the Institute of Physics and Applied Computer Science and a vice-chair of the event takes care of the accreditation and implementation of this education program, including its introduction to the eNauczanie e-learning platform. The head of the ScienceApp project, engaging 7 academic teachers from our Faculty and 6 administrative staff members of Gdańsk Tech, is dr Justyna Szostak.

The program is financed by the European Union under the Knowledge Education Development Operational Program (Action 3.3. Internationalization of Higher Education). The total budget of the project is PLN 726,900.00.
