AI Bay and DIH4.AI cordially invite everyone on 30.09.2021 to a seminar with a series of lectures on weather and climate modelling using artificial intelligence methods. The seminar will be organized remotely and will be conducted in Polish.

17.30-17.55: prof. Mariusz J. Figurski, Weather modeling in the era of changing climate - challenges and applications, Gdańsk Tech, Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Meteorological Modeling Centre IMGW-PIB

18.00-18.25: Bogdan Bochenek, MSc, Application of artificial intelligence in weather modelling, Centre for Meteorological Modelling IMGW-PIB

18.30-18.55: Adam Jaczewski, Ph.D. Climate modelling - time for artificial intelligence?, Centre for Meteorological Modelling IMGW-PIB.

It is worth mentioning that the Gdańsk Tech and the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management - National Research Institute have signed a cooperation agreement (July 2019), according to which the results of the WRF METEOPG model (https://meteopg.pl/#/), which operationally works at CI TASK (https://task.gda.pl/pl/aktualnosci/wrf-meteopg-w-nowym-serwisie-pogodowym-imgw-pib/), are made available.

During the meeting, a lively discussion is expected.
