Zdzisław Głowacki

Zdzisław Głowacki graduated from Technical Physics in 1983. His thesis focused on spherolytic structures in polymers. 

From 1982 to 1993 he worked in the Department of Organic Chemistry of PG dealing with applications of high resolution spectroscopy of NMR. He conducted interdisciplinary research in the field of organic, analytical and physical chemistry. He defended his doctoral thesis under the supervision of Prof. Janusz Rachoń in 1993.

From 1991 to 1997 Zdzisław worked at the Department of Analytical Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, and in 1992 he completed an internship in Italy at the University of Ancona.

In 1991 he founded the educational company  “Studium Oświatowe Tutor" in Toruń, and in 1993 the company "Oficyna Wydawnicza Tutor" – a publishing house with an educational profile, which published several dozen of educational books. He is the author and co-author of dozens of scientific and popular science articles and the author of more than a dozen textbooks.

Zdzisław explores the history of his family, wrote several historical and memoir articles about the lives of his loved ones during the twentieth century.
