Darek Bogucki graduated from Technical Physics in 1981. He prepared his master's thesis under the supervision of Prof. Czesław Szmytkowski.
Darek is a specialist in marine physics. He graduated in 1991 from the Faculty of Oceanography at Dalhousie University in Canada. He received his Doctorate in Earth Sciences from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles (USA) in 1996.
Darek is currently a professor at Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi, USA. He is the head of the laboratory at the College of Science and Engineering - Department of Physical and Environmental Sciences. He is a specialist in measurement and analysis of turbulence, numerical methods in ocean modelling, ocean sensors, physical-biological interactions in the oceans.
Darek lives in Corpus Christi, he is married and has a son.
