Andrzej Synowiecki graduated from Technical Physics in 1979. He completed his thesis under the supervision of Associate Professor Emil Gazda.

Initially, he worked at the Faculty as an assistant working on the secondary ions mass spectroscopy. Since 1987 he has been associated with the RADMOR Company in Gdynia. First as a technologist engineer, later as head of microelectronics division, and since 1994 as deputy director for development and restructuring.

In the second half of the 1990s, he implemented his original restructuring program, which transformed RADMOR from a bankrupt state-owned company into a dynamic, modern and innovative electronic company. Since 1996, he has been the president of RADMOR S.A., a leading Polish company engaged in the development and production of military radio stations, radio telephones, radio modems and other wireless communication devices.

Andrzej Synowiecki is one of the most experienced managers of the Polish military industry. He is a member of the board of the Association of Employers of Defence and Aerospace Companies, and has been a member of the supervisory boards of many business entities.

During his student years and later an active member of the Academic Equestrian Club in Gdańsk. For more than ten years he worked socially as an equestrian instructor at this club. He trained hundreds of young equestrian apprentices. He also holds the license of a motoglider pilot and a sailing license,
