A graduate from the Faculty of Technical Physics and Applied Mathematics at Gdańsk University of Technology receives thorough education in basic sciences and selected domains of technology so as to be able to see and understand the technology and its problems from the perspective of the trends in contemporary physics, chemistry, materials engineering and related disciplines. Owing to that he/she is very well prepared to solve all atypical (interdisciplinary) problems on the interface of many engineering fields.
Graduates holding diplomas of the Faculty of Technical Physics and Applied Mathematics at Gdańsk University of Technology easily find employment at universities of technology and other universities, scientific research institutes, design offices and company laboratories, to operate highly specialist diagnostic apparatus, as well as directly in production as conscious engineers - creators perfectly knowing the scientific basis of what they do. They also find employment in computational centres and as teachers in schools.
